About the Author of the Website

My name is Natalia. Cooking has accompanied me throughout my conscious life – I’ve been cooking at home for over thirty years, and for more than twenty years I’ve been deeply exploring world cuisines, their history, techniques, flavor combinations, and local traditions. For me, it’s more than just preparing food – it’s a way to discover cultures, preserve family ties, and create a sense of home.

For more than 15 years, I’ve been running a large culinary website dedicated to recipes from the national cuisines of different countries. It features over 1,500 step-by-step recipes – some of them I created myself, others I adapted from trusted sources: old and modern cookbooks, foreign websites, and other materials. All recipes go through my kitchen – I cook, photograph, describe the process, and publish them with step-by-step photos and my own tips. I always try to make even complex dishes easy to recreate at home, so I pay attention to details, proportions, ingredient availability, and the logic of each step.

I am not a chef and don’t aim to impress with complexity – what matters most to me is that the dish is delicious, easy to understand, and brings joy. I cook the way I do for myself and my loved ones: honestly, carefully, and with attention to taste.

I spent most of my life in eastern Ukraine, but since 2022 I’ve been living in another region and, despite everything, I continue doing what I love – cooking, sharing recipes, and creating useful content for those who appreciate home cooking.

Why did the idea of creating a separate website dedicated only to salads come about? Because salads are my special culinary passion. They allow for creativity, play with flavors, textures, and aromas. Salads are a flexible format: a quick snack, a light dinner, a vibrant dish for celebrations. Here I want to collect the best combinations, show how to make familiar dishes more exciting and new ones more accessible.

I continue to develop my main website and work on the new one – with the same love for what I do and the same principles: to share what’s tested and cook in a way that makes you want to repeat it. I hope the recipes from this project will be useful to you – both for everyday meals and special occasions.
